Employees haven’t lost their motivation, but are workplaces giving them what they need to sustain it?
New research from Wiley Workplace Intelligence surveyed more than 1,600 employees and found an interesting disconnect. Nine in ten employees say they’re motivated to do their best work, yet only 63% say they have enough time to do their work well.
Employees want to succeed. The challenge is creating the conditions that allow them to.
The Power of the Team
One of the most interesting findings is where employees find joy at work. 39% point to their team as a primary source of workplace joy.
That means the everyday interactions between coworkers matter.
How people communicate, navigate differences, recognize one another’s strengths, and respond during stressful situations can all shape the employee experience.
